Airlines now require Travel Agents to ‘know their Clients’; governments are now demanding that airlines transmit certain passenger data to their destinations before an aircraft is permitted to depart. Additionally, to reduce fraud, credit card issuers have implemented new schemes to protect the use of their products.

All information supplied will remain confidential and will not be sold, traded or disposed of other than by destruction. Touchstone Travel will hold the information about you securely and will not disclose it except for this purpose or when required by law. The Privacy Act gives you the right to see and correct personal information Touchstone Travel holds about you.

Under the Canadian Federal PIPEDA we are required to advise you:

Any personal data provided will be used only to secure travel products requested by you or your authorized agent and supply only sufficient data to suppliers for their needs;
You are permitted to view the data supplied by you (on this form) on request;
You may also request that we destroy any data we hold on you subject to any law that requires we retain data for a period of time. Be aware that airlines retain for seven years and that air travel to the US will cause personal data to be retained for 50 years.
