TOUCHSTONE TRAVEL NEWS
PLANE TALK
US Airways
To Improve Service - With a
spate of customer service issues it hopes is
behind them and a busy summer travel season
ahead, US Airways today said it is investing
to improve customer service at airports,
including hiring 1,000 new airport personnel
and upgrading checkin kiosks. The airline

Iris-Recognition Technology Makes Crossing
Easier for Frequent Cross-Border Travellers
at Trudeau Airport in Montreal
- Montreal's Pierre Elliott
Trudeau International Airport is the latest
to join a program aimed at making life
simpler for frequent cross-border travellers.
The NEXUS program uses
iris-recognition technology to bypass the
primary inspection lines at airports. A
background check is required before air
travellers are approved for the program,
which can also be used at land and sea
crossings. James Cherry, CEO and president
of the agency that runs
the Montreal airport, says the new service
allows frequent flyers to bypass the normal
customs process.

Resorts last Friday announced it now

exchange vows in its public wedding
spots.
United
